Becoming Her: What That Really Means

If you’ve seen the name Becoming Her and wondered what it actually means, I get it.

This isn’t just a cute phrase or a catchy brand name for me. It’s not about aesthetics or hustle culture or becoming a “better version” of yourself in a worldly sense.

This is about identity.

It’s about the woman God already sees when He looks at you—and the journey of stepping into her.

Becoming Her is the process of remembering who you were before life tried to break you.

Before the trauma.

Before the anxiety.

Before the heartbreak, the labels, the fear, the confusion.

Before you stopped recognizing yourself in the mirror.

It’s about becoming whole again—not perfect, but whole.

Not striving, but surrendering.

I know what it’s like to feel stuck in survival mode.

To lead while bleeding.

To carry everyone else’s needs while silently wondering, “When is it my turn to heal?”

To say, “I’m fine” while your soul is exhausted and your heart is quietly falling apart.

Becoming Her was born out of that place in me.

The little girl who never felt safe.

The woman who went through more than she ever should have.

And the daughter of God who finally realized—I am not disqualified.

Becoming Her is a movement, but it’s also deeply personal.

It’s the moment you stop pretending.

The moment you say, “God, if there’s more than this—I want it.”

It’s peeling back the layers of performance and fear and finally stepping into your authority, your calling, your identity.

Not with force.

But with truth.

With healing.

With Jesus.

This isn’t about becoming who the world says you should be.

This is about becoming who Heaven already knows you are.

If you’re reading this and you feel that tug in your spirit, that whisper that says, “I want that…”—I want you to know:

You’re not behind.

You’re not too broken.

You’re right on time.

This is your invitation to become her.
